Hylea

Located in the residential neighborhood of Morumbi, near the axis of Av. Giovanni Gronchi and Shopping Jardim Sul, Hiléa was designed to be a complex aimed at the elderly, integrating the functions of residential with services, medical clinic and club, specializing in people with Alzheimer's disease.

The project explores a combination of overlapping volumes, in which the large horizontal volume is reserved for the living spaces and a vertical volume, superimposed on this, is destined for the private rooms. On the roof, a proposal for a differentiated space for the ICU, with large windows facing a garden, allows the hospitalized patient to have contact with the outside world.
