All projects developed at aflalo/gasperini architects from 2009 are on the BIM (Building Information Modeling) platform.

From the adoption of BIM technology, the development of the project starts to happen in 3D and allows to generate more accurate architectural solutions, as well as facilitates the understanding of the project by all involved, as it is the “virtual construction” of the architectural work. The model contains all the necessary parameterized information for the issuance of execution documents (Executive Projects and Details).

If fully used, with the involvement of technical teams (structure, installations, air conditioning, among others), it effectively demonstrates project compatibility activities, through analysis and detection of geometric interference in 3D.

The BIM process fully applied in the development of the project also allows the possibility of extracting quantities from the construction components, planning and visualization of the execution phases and the management of operations and maintenance in the day-to-day of the building.

Sustainability in its basic principles, such as water reuse, energy saving, specification of ecologically correct materials and equipment, is allied to the quality of the spaces generated, whether for thermal, acoustic, luminous or visual comfort, contributing fully to the longevity of the building, for the quality of life of the user and the city.

Our portfolio includes more than twenty projects with LEED and AQUA sustainability certification. The Eldorado Business Tower was a pioneer among large buildings in Brazil, in 2009 it was certified in the maximum category, Leed Platinum; and more recently, in 2015, the Parque da Cidade project received the Leed ND (Neighborhood Development), still unheard of in the State of São Paulo, which integrates principles of planned and intelligent growth, sustainable urbanism and green buildings, through different typologies of buildings and mix of uses of urban spaces, bringing a positive impact to the surroundings.

In our office, we have a model department, which prepares physical three-dimensional models of our projects with the aim of helping us in the creative process, in the research of volumes and in the architectural language, facilitating understanding by both the team and the client.

The drawings of the pieces for the model are extracted from the virtual 3D model of the project itself, and using from more artisanal techniques to a laser cutter, with a variety of tools and materials, such as styrofoam, wood and acrylic, the correct representation of the model is manufactured. scale and details of each building.

The aflalo/gasperini quality system (SQ) was implemented in 2000, based on the team's experience, with a view to obtaining ISO 9001 certification, obtained in 2000 .

Since then, the quality system has received periodic reviews due to changes in its processes and tools, always aiming at the continuous improvement of projects. The SQ consists of procedures, instructions and records, which are made available to the entire team and used in planning, critical analyzes and internal validations during all stages of the project.
