25 years ago, the surroundings of Avenida Chucri Zaidan and Marginal Pinheiros were marked by large blocks that were deteriorated, uninhabited and isolated from their surroundings, a legacy of the neighborhood's industrial past.

The process of transforming an area that occupies around 200 thousand m² began in 1999, with the Rochaverá corporate project. Close to the Morumbi train station and shopping mall, in São Paulo, the “masterplan” was formed in stages, as large developers and construction companies operated in the region.

The opportunity to work with large plots of land is not frequent, on the other hand, when this opportunity arises, there is the possibility of exploring the urban potential for enhancing the community and sustainability in the implementation. The complex houses a five-star hotel with international management, restaurants, shops, commercial rooms, Shopping Parque da Cidade, with 4 corporate towers that delimit the linear park “Parque da Cidade” built on the banks of the Pinheiros River and join the WT Morumbi , Morumbi Corporate and Rochaverá.

The complex forms an urban oasis that directly contributes to controlling the region’s microclimate. With LEED certifications (GBC Brazil – Green Building Council Brazil), the projects present the highest sustainability standards, as they bring together solutions such as water, energy and solid waste management to CO2 reduction, in addition to optimizing the use of transport and offer access to people who need special attention.
