/Evolution of sustainable construction in Brazil.

An article published in the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper reported that Brazil surpassed Germany in the ranking of sustainable buildings.

Here's an excerpt from the article:

“ In ten years until the last balance of 2017, the country went from zero to 393 buildings with LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), created by the NGO US Green Building Council. In 2016, Brazil appeared in fourth place in the ranking, with 7,43 million square meters certified, ahead of powers like Germany (7th).”
